Formally trained as a textile designer I hold a BA in Fashion & Textile design from Winchester School of art, UK. I relocated to NYC in my early 20’s to pursue a career in Textile design, and transitioned into corporate fashion in 2007 for a Senior Print Designer role at Urban Outfitters, and then becoming Senior Print Designer for Gap Body in 2010.
In 2016 I relocated to Upstate NY, and began a collaboration co-founding the ceramic brand, Lail Design. As Art Director I bought branding, marketing, and concept skills to elevate the product and hone the aesthetic of the work & company.
Now I am looking to pivot my career path to seek projects that spark joy and creativity.

Color Forecasting & Trend Research
I am currently working through the final capstone projects for a UX/UI certification with Design Lab. Learning Figma, protoyping, and designing end to end product based on consumer research.
In a freelance capacity I created brand collateral, marketing assets, and was content creator & social media manager for Lola Pizza. Projects included a print trifold map of Kingston, In Room hotel guides, Menus, corporate Decks, signage and more. I was required to work with the marketing team and ensure all work where neccessary was production ready.
As Art Director of Lail Design I directed the overall aesthetic of the brand. Drawing from Scandinavian & Japanese minimalism with a contemporary glaze palette, I positioned the brand as an ‘affordable luxury’ product ensuring it had varying price entry points.
I designed and created the branding, logo, website and public facing materials, as well as the content and tone for social media. I collaborated with production to create the foundation line of forms, and the original line. To ensure our brand voice was cohesive and impactful, I oversaw all photography, and styled the shoots myself.
Working as the Senior designer for Gap Body, My primary focus was the printed product for Gap Fit Athleisure, bra’s, sleep and underwear collections.
I lead the surface design collections for Gap Fit, collaborating with the VP of design and concept team. Alongside the central ‘hero’ prints I was responsible for creating coordinating yarn dyes, technical placement graphics, T-Shirt graphics, and knit intarsia designs.
Additionally I made sure artwork was production ready with with tech packs, and followed the process through to the finished samples.
