The 2019 spring palette evoked a retro vibe with a sense of optimism. Coming out of the long Upstate winters, I wanted to bring some saturated warm colors to boost the foundational hues.
The hero color Lichen, a light minty green took its name from the lichen crusted pines in Woodstock. Canyon was released later in the summer, a vibrant orange with a pinky undertone adding bold Midcentury vibes evoking the hues of Bryce Canyon.
The photoshoot took cues from lazy picnics with playful fruit shots, and blankets with sun bleached stripes.
